Please keep the vacation home in a clean and sanitary condition during your stay. It is important that you also keep the home secure and locked at all times when you are away and no one is in the home.
You are responsible to notify the agent immediately if there is any damage or theft to the home or to any of the personal property in the home. Additionally you will be held responsible and accountable for any damages or theft of any personal property to the home during your rental period at replacement cost.
You should be aware that being on the beaches at any time of the year can be dangerous due to the high waves, strong currents and high winds. You should enjoy the beaches and realize you do so at your own risk and in accordance with all the safety regulations and warnings of the State of Oregon.“

The rental home does not provide beach towels or beach blankets for use on the beach. Please do not use any of the linens and towels from the home at the beach. You must bring your own for beach use.
For those homes which have a fireplace or wood stove which allow burning, it is important you do not use wood from the beach or any wood. Only presto logs are allowed to be burned.
During your stay if you discover any out of order, broken or not functioning essential services or appliances it is important for you to advise our office immediately so we can remedy the problem as soon as possible.
DEPOSITS & PAYMENTS:
To secure your reservation The Refundable Security deposit will be due within a few days of your receiving the confirmation of your reservation from OceanAire Vacation Homes. The due date for this deposit and signed Terms and Condition will be specified with your reservation confirmation. The total balance due shall be paid no later than 30 days prior to your arrival date. Your failure to meet either of these payment dates may result in the cancellation of your reservation without notice.
Upon departure your refundable security deposit shall be processed for refund within 5-7 days of your check out providing the home is left in the proper condition and in accordance with our checkout requirements.
CHECK OUT REQUIREMENTS:
In Order to receive your entire Refundable Security Deposit, it is important for you to:
Do Not leave dirty dishes in the home.
Load and wash all dishes in the dishwasher if available.
Start a load of linens or towels in the washing machine. Place used linens and towels near the washer and dryer.
Do not make the beds.
Place all garbage and recycle in the outside bins.
Place the house key (s) in the basket with garage door opener.
Lock the door and secure the designated door key in the lockbox. Missing House keys will result in additional charges to your security deposit.
Any excessive cleaning to prepare the home for the next guest will result in additional charges to you.
CANCELLATION OF RESERVATION:
There is a minimum $50 cancellation fee for all confirmed reservations secured by a deposit. You may want to consider travel insurance to indemnify you against a loss from any unforeseen circumstances.
If you cancel less than 30 days prior to your arrival the rents will not be refunded nor will the security deposit. However all other monies on account are refundable.
We truly want you to enjoy your stay with us. All the homes we manage and offer to our guests are different in various ways affording different amenities and features. All our owners take pride in their homes and the care and attention they keep their homes. Please make certain you are selecting the home that best suits you. Call our office 503.440.5690 with any questions or concerns you may have regarding the rental of one of our homes. Once you arrive & check in there will be no refunds if you choose not to stay at the home.
UNAVAILABILITY \ OF PREMISES:
Should the home you have rented become unavailable due to circumstances beyond the control of OceanAire Vacation Homes including but not limited to destruction or severe damage due to weather, fire, owner cancelation of their management agreement due to personal circumstances or sale of the property, OceanAire Vacation Homes will arrange alternative accommodations for you whenever possible. If alternate accommodations are not available or acceptable to you, the guest, OceanAire Vacation Homes will provide a full refund of all monies you have paid on account. This will be the full extent of liability to OceanAire Vacation Homes regarding a cancelation due to unavailability of the home for which you have a confirmed booking.
